Jurassic World

Chris Patt is riding another wave. Pratt is currently one of the hottest commodities in Hollywood after a spectacular 2014, which saw the actor transform himself from the lovable blockhead Andy on the NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation" to the latest action hero fulfilling the hole created by the aging Harrison Ford. This was thanks to starring in the animated "The Lego Movie" and Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," two of 2014's biggest hits. Those two films garnered the actor roughly $590 million at the box office last year -- more than Pratt's previous 12 films combined.

So while many of us may be heading to "Jurassic World" this weekend for the dinosaurs, some look to be going for Pratt and giving him another blockbuster hit.

As the stroryline goes ... Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

'Jurassic World' lasts for 100 minutes. It's rated PG-13.
