A Most Wanted Man

Many movie-buffs like us sorely miss Philip Seymour Hoffman. His untimely and unfortunate death on February 2nd has left a big hole in silver screen. He is certainly 'A Most Wanted Man' which, by the way, is the name of his latest movie releasing tomorrow.

Directed by Anton Corbijn (famous for 'The American', the year-2010 movie starring George Clooney), 'A Most Wanted Man' is based on John le Carré's novel of same name. The movie is a contemporary, cerebral tale of intrigue, love, rivalry, and politics that prickles with tension right through to its last heart-stopping scene.

When a half-Chechen, half-Russian, brutally tortured immigrant turns up in Hamburg's Islamic community, laying claim to his father's ill gotten fortune, both German and US security agencies take a close interest: as the clock ticks down and the stakes rise, the race is on to establish this most wanted man's true identity - oppressed victim or destruction-bent extremist?

The movie is rated 'R' for language. It runs for 2 hours 01 minute. Here is the official website: amostwantedmanmovie.com.
