Orlando Bloom in "Kingdom of Heaven"

Orlando Bloom, a 28 year old from Canterbury, England, is the new James
Bond! The next Bond film -- a revisitation of 'Casino Royale' -- sees the
fresh faced Orlando take on the role of a young James: a clever teenager
with a quite pronounced preference for espionage.

Orlando Bloom has featured in some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters
over the last few years. We can not forget Paris in 'Troy'. His other hits
include 'Pirates of Caribbean', 'The Lord Of The Rings', 'Black Hawk Down'.

At present he is enjoying his headlining status as leading man in the
upcoming mega-budget epic, Ridley Scott's Kingdom Of Heaven. His role
is that of Balian, a blacksmith in the middle ages. After the critically
lauded 'Black Hawk Down', this is his second film with the director. Scott
makes use of the advantage of Orlando's success as an actor specializing
in period cinema by hurling him in the middle of the Crusades. The cast
includes great actors like Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons. Bloom's
character is that of a protagonist, a blacksmith who doesn't believe in
God or religion. But his lack of belief is soon questioned.

'Kingdom Of Heaven' hits theatres globally on May 6, this Friday.
